Our DSE Training provides up to 10 learners with essential knowledge on the safe and effective use of computer screens, focusing on ergonomics and preventing strain injuries. Participants will gain practical insights into setting up their workstations to minimize discomfort and reduce the risk of long-term health issues associated with prolonged screen use.

 

By completing this course, individuals will ensure they adhere to health and safety regulations, thus promoting a healthier and more productive work environment.

 

This course covers:

 

Understanding Display Screen Equipment (DSE)

Overview: Introduction to DSE regulations, including their purpose and scope.

Health Risks: Detailed look at common health risks associated with prolonged screen use, such as eye strain, musculoskeletal problems, and repetitive strain injuries (RSI).

 

Ergonomics and Best Practices

Workstation Setup: Guidance on the optimal arrangement of screens, keyboards, chairs, and desks to promote good posture and comfort.

Posture and Positioning: Techniques for maintaining proper posture and positioning to avoid strain and injury.

Breaks and Exercises: Importance of taking regular breaks and performing simple exercises to reduce tension and fatigue.

 

Legal Obligations

Responsibilities: Overview of employer and employee responsibilities under health and safety regulations related to DSE.

Compliance: Explanation of the legal requirements for DSE assessments and workstation adjustments.

    Once you have purchased a training package we will be in contact to book a date. Always contact us first to check date availability if you need a specific date to avoid disapointment, as we cannot guarantee dates until booking is complete.

    After booking, all cancellations will incur a minimum 15% charge. Cancellations within 1 week of the training date will incur a 50% admin charge and cancellations within 48 hours of the training date will incur an 80% admin charge.

    This training is compliant with UK Laws and does not apply to employees outside of the UK. 

    Full payment is required within 14 days of booking or dates cannot be held.
